This will be the 3rd year of the Sanquhar Garden Trail. The event will be regulated by the Government Guidance that will be in place at the time. If you would like your garden to be part of the trail, then contact the email address on the poster. Stay safe everyone, and let’s hope this event can go ahead in the summer.
Here is how to take part in A’ the Airts Christmas card competition this year.
Please click on this video link to hear Kathleen tell you what it is all about or read below for entry details. Thanks to Merz for filming and Kathleen for her introduction.
Competition is open to all of the young people of Upper Nithsdale, and entry closes 20th November 2020. To enter, pick up a free copy of the book “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens from A’ the Airts Community Centre reception desk, or from your class teacher and create a Victorian themed Christmas card using that story as inspiration. Drop the completed work into A’ the Airts reception (please remember to wear your facemask) or take a photo and send to A’ the Airts Community Art Centre Facebook page. The winner will receive a £25 gift card and their artwork published into printed cards for the Centre’s craft shop. Good luck everyone, we cannot wait to see your wonderful creative talents.
